Meet Our Instructors
Becky began her dance career at the age of three and has never looked back. She danced in the competitive world through high school and started assistant teaching at the age of 15.
A song girl in high school led her to many Pom coaching positions for many high schools during college. Becky won the title of Miss Alameda County in 1985 (Miss America Program) and was awarded one of the Outstanding Young Women of America awards for her work in her sorority, college and community in 1987.
One of her favorite dance jobs was being a "Warrior Girl" for the Golden State Warriors for three seasons. choreography awards
Nicole grew up in the dance world and danced her way from a young girl through her college years. She danced in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade as well as the New Year's Parade in London. She taught the SJSU Spartan Spectrum dance team and loved to choreograph musicals at Ohlone College. Nicole was a member of the Visual Rhythm dance company and also an instructor for UDA. She received her BA in Child Development from Chico State.
Currently Nicole has been on our Bella staff since its inception and is a popular teacher with all the dancers in all genres of dance. She is also the JV dance coach for Liberty High School in Brentwood as well as the choreographer for the Liberty theater department. Nicole and her husband Kyle love to give back to the community. They have a sweet nine year old son named Jackson who loves to support his Bella sisters!
Liz studied Dance at De Anza Junior College and obtained and AA degree in Dance. She's also a member of Dance Masters of America.
She danced in local dance competitions and with a local dance company, Fleet Feet Inc.
Liz has been teaching tap, jazz and ballet since 1978.
Liz also taught dance and supervised the Dance Program for the City of Fremont. she also taught for a local dance studio in Fremont.
Liz has been teaching dance and is the Office Manager at Bella Dance Academy.
Liz has been married to Walter since 1995 and my son Jared is 18 years of age.
Alexa has been dancing since the age of two and started dancing competitively with Miss Becky at the age of seven. From there her love of dance grew only until she graduated as a senior from Bella Dance Academy through college.
She has a minor in dance from Cal Poly. While down in SLO, she was a member of the Cal Poly Dance Team from 2010-2013 and joined Orchesis, the University's dance company her final year. She choreographed several routines for the dance team and for the student showcase over the years at Cal Poly.
Alexa worked for two years as a UDA instructor and has returned to Bella Dance as a ballet and a competitive team instructor. She has experience in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, modern and hip hop and has had the opportunity to take classes from instructors such as Mandy Moore in La and around the Bay Area. She is passionate about choreographing and sharing her love of dance with her students
